A lot of books aimed at the skinny guy offer unrealistic expectations, and this leads to frustration and eventual failure. I wrote this book to correct that. It doesn't give fasle hopes and dreams, it offers you one very simple promise:
Stick with the guidelines in the book, and in a years time you will be jacked. That's it.
30 lbs of muscle is a realistic expectation for a years training and eating right. Even if, up until now, you haven't been able to make any decent changes to your body. Guys that follow what is outlined can expect betwwen 30-40 lbs of additional weight on their frames, most of it being muscle.

A good starting point

I read this book quickly over an evening. The information is for the most part intuitive and seems like a good approach. I am buying a scale and creatine now, plus adding the eating and lifting regimen beginning on Monday. I'm not sure that I want to carry an extra 30 lbs but 20 would be great.

I wanted to find some information on a weightlifting diet. There was a lot of good, easy information in here. Overall a really good book. I would recommend it.
